With a postdoctoral research workstation, a provincial corporate technical center, a provincial laboratory of construction machinery reliability engineering and a provincial center of earth mover engineering technology research, Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (SDLG) is a model manufacturing informatization enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise.

Hardware Construction:
SDLG has established a new product trial manufacture workshop, expanded the pilot product test base, owned all sorts of testing equipment for key components of construction machinery and a complete range of means of machinery testing, installed high-end 3D software, conducted network-based coordinated design, and accomplished a system of construction machinery R & D integrating 3D design, kinematic analysis with finite element analysis.

R & D Fund:
In recent three years, SDLG has invested an R & D fund accounting for over 5.3 percent of its sales revenues.

Talent Building:
Currently, SDLG owns 284 engineering technicians with an average age of 32, including 57 with master’s degrees (20.1%), 121 senior and middle-level engineering technicians (42.6%); as well as 7 technical leaders, 2 post doctors and 14 famous industry experts retained from home and abroad. 

Innovation Achievements:
SDLG has successively passed appraisal of 29 scientific and technological achievements, including 7 international advanced ones and 22 domestic leading ones, won nine awards for scientific and technological achievements and owned 38 patents; has released over 120 corporate standards, headed and participated in the formulation of five national and industrial standards; and has developed 16 new loaders, 5 excavators and 4 rollers.

In recent years, SDLG has played a leading role in technical innovation and application. Its core technologies and product applications include:
1) "Research on and Commercial Applications of Intelligent Monitoring System of Mechanic-Electronic-Hydraulic Integration of Loader”, a project under the National “863” Program.
2) Key technology of energy-conserving wheel loader saving oil by 12 percent and increasing working efficiency by over 5 percent on average.
